boy or girl?

I went to the DR yesterday and heard little baby elys heartbeat. Everything looks good and I'm officially in the 2nd trimester. In exactly 1 month we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Can't wait for February 28th!!! Of course with my new Hello Kitty waffle maker....... I think a girl would be nice.......... but we love boys too! (can boys eat Hello Kitty shaped waffles?)

Nicole did an Italian cook-off! Not only did she make dinner.... she made a whole bunch of frozen dinners for us too! (I HELPED) Making food in advance will come in handy when baby comes!

Looking at our "baby" blog I knew there was something missing! Bling Bling! Our 1st baby! Thinking about how much we love our little blingers and how much joy she brings us... makes me wonder how much more we will love our human baby! Don't get me wrong Bling is basically human (to us) the problem is that the rest of the world has not caught on to that yet. I can't believe she's going to be 3 years old this April. These are just a few of the billion pictures we have of her and I could sit here and look through them all day. Call me crazy..... that's OK!

YOGA MAMAS

Thank you Tely and Moppa (merrily) for my Prenatal Yoga Classes! Tonight was my first night doing Prenatal Yoga and I really loved it. It was really cool to be in a room with about 25 other pregnant women and it was soooooo relaxing. I felt like I was doing something really good for me. Yoga is a really nice workout but I really find the huge benefits in the peaceful quiet mind it gives me. This is something that I am going to keep doing up until baby comes and after baby is here. Hopefully! Of course it made it more fun cause Gabby was there! :) This should help maintain some sanity as we are getting really busy and crazy at mixie!

Girls night in...

Last night I had a girls night in. We went over to Val's house and had yummy appetizers, some girl talk and then we watched IN THE WOMB. What an incredible show! WOW! Val, Gabby, Anya and I all curled up (oh yeah the dogs too!) and sat in amazement as we took a tour of a real baby growing from conception to birth. About half way through the program Gabby's little guy began to kick a tiny bit (she's 28 weeks) that was very exciting considering what we were watching.

Lorin and I just got back from our 2nd ultrasound. WOW! It's so amazing to see the baby growing! Once again we were in awe at how cute the baby is..... (to us). The U/S tech kinda laughed at us because "cute" is a little funny when you're looking at a alien kicking around with a giant head. It's so fun to see how much baby has grown.

I'm feeling a lot better now that I'm almost done with my 1st trimester. As long as I snack every few hours I seem to do pretty good. I still am not eating salad........ but hopefully the 2nd trimester will bring my love for salad back (in fact just writing the word makes my tummy turn)
