he'd take over!!!!

& he did!


lorin made an awesome workbench for our garage. i'm pretty impressed........ he's pretty impressed and i think it has somehow completed his "manhood" having a workbench. where he can........ um....... work on "stuff."

our trip to visit our family in la la land! we had so much fun visiting with everyone. we all gathered at scottie and victoria's house for lunch and to just hang out. milo loves to see his bubby! scottie pulled out a great big box of old photos and we all enjoyed going through them. it was really cool to watch bubby go through all the old photos..... it was a long trip down memory lane.

milo helped scottie and victoria see what kinda of baby proofing they're gonna be needing in a few months. he was into everything.. as usual! i loved seeing victoria's little belly! she's just started to pop and we're SOOOOO excited they're having a BOY!!!!! one thing that was really funny is a chalk board in their kitchen with possible baby names...... there's some of the funniest names you've ever seen on the board..... homer, hannibel and all sorts of super hilarious combinations! the board is jammed full! i can't wait to see what they really name their little one.

12. ............ do you get the picture? this is the life and times of an 18 month old!!!! love it!

train rides every 3rd weekend of the month & it's free!  since milo has been playing at his friend logan's house & cousin calvin's house that both have awesome trains..... he's been super into choo choo's.  in fact...... when i ask him if he's ready to go play with logan he says, "choo choo."  so anyways it looks like trains are one of his new things..... that and furf (surf.... but we'll get to that later).  the train ride was lots of fun.  he sat SO still and was in a trance as we watched the scenery whiz by and had the breeze blowing in our faces.

Another Beautiful Day at La Playa......

we headed down to the beach to play with our friend Lanae. her baby boy is due in 2 weeks.....yay! i was hoping to just play on the sand with milo. obviously he had another idea......

what a wonderful day! the ocean was peaceful like a big lake. the water was cold but the sun was warm.

New Music Class........

when we had our 1st day of the new music class the teacher said, "it's ok if milo is shy on the 1st day." well the minute the music started he started dancing. the teacher said, "never mind." ha ha! so he really likes it and it's full of really cool little people. they play music, rings & then they dress up and march. it's so funny.

one minute i'm at the office going through a paperwork audit........ blah! then the next minute i'm on the pier with milo & auntie tely having such an adventure. but i can't help but wonder.......... who are all those people on the pier fishing for dinner? what a fun day! and it's january...... beautiful!

we watched this old russian man reel in this GIANT fish.... it kinda freaked milo out.

a fisherman even threw a fish on the ground that this hawk swooped down and grabbed.... it was really cool to watch.

i have always loved dandelions!

We chose to go Private. We feel it is in the best interest of our family. I know it seems like a pain in the booty but really all ya got to do is click the view as a guest button and waaa laaa here we are!

Happy New Year! Let's get ready for a wonderful year. Right? Ok..... good I'm glad you're on board with the positive vibes. I just can't help but be excited to see what 2009 has in store. Milo is keeping us on our toes and we're loving and savoring every ounce of his growth and development. Forget the list of words..... he's talking so much that i've lost count..... it kinda makes me sad. (that i lost count.... not that he's talking so much)

Since Lorin has been busy with lots of side projects and needing the computer at night I have not been able to get my night time computer blogging done so I'm kinda behind on sharing some fun pictures from our holiday. We enjoyed spending lots of time together and with our families.

he doesn't look thrilled here.. but he LOVES santa! when you say SANTA or CHRISTMAS to him he says,"ho ho ho."

bling enjoyed a nice cozy fire while we tore through the gifts that santa dropped off. she's so tranquil.


let me introduce you to RODY!!!!! the boys had so much fun on their RODYs that it was impossible to get a picture where one of them was not blurry from jumping around on RODY!
