just keepin it real.....

Good Morning!

sushi w/ pop....... let's just say milo is not going back there for a long long time! ;)

we rode our bikes down to the pier...... refreshing!

bird man.... @ this point milo was sleepy and not amused.

making banana pancakes this morning.


he's taking the most luxurious nap right now 2 1/2 hours so far! we've had a lovely sunny weekend. i'm so lucky i got to go on 2 dates........ yep 2 dates!!!!! lorin took me out friday night to celebrate the article in the OC Register. we had a yummy shabu shabu dinner thanks to our neighbors who insisted on watching milo for us. ;) then saturday night moppa came over while we went and had hour massages. mine was great but lorin's lady was super pinchy. after our massages we went and had a yummy hot pot dinner (my new favorite food). we stopped at TJ's on our way home and got some ice cream and berries and then went home and ate it and watched the office. perfection! hope you've all had a fabulous weekend.

sooooo maybe it was kinda a bad idea.... steep grassy hill + wild children (wild milo) +good friday services=crazy! but we still had fun and it was a great work out. milo seriously would not hold still and when i let him up to move around he would start running down the hill and his little legs could not keep up with him. he ran into some people who were sitting below us. sighhhhhh...... no one got hurt.


i pulled out my secret lollipop weapons & that bought me about 2 minutes until he was over it and on the move again.

& i love how ada just made lorin into a lounge chair to watch some tv.

easter sunday at nana & papas house. what a beautiful blue sky we had all day. milo enjoyed the easter egg hunt. i think his favorite part of the day was playing in the fountain.

ended the day with moppa & itchel (jim)........... yummy dinner and a laker game.



fabulous easter!

old school easter picnic at the park w/ pop & glam. it's a funny thing how once you have a kid you REALLY appreciate a good park. it's so nice to set the little wild ones free and not have to hover over them saying...... no no no! the beautiful clouds in the sky made for some really nice photos.

i don't really know where to start with all of the easter photos. look at these little people.. they're such little characters.

i was starting the week on the wrong foot and feeling pretty overwhelmed.  milo and i have just gotten over the flu and now milo has a cold......... sigh......... poor little guy.  i was wondering how i'm gonna get through all this sickness & busyness. when milo said, " Ma Rainbow."  

i stopped what i was doing to go see the rainbow he found in the house.  i couldn't tell where it was coming from but knew it was exactly what i needed to see.  it's a sweet simple "hello" from my nana who always sends me a rainbow when i need encouragement or when i've just accomplished something big. then milo took a nap and my sister called and added some extra encouragement......... and now i think i'm gonna turn this week around.  just got to fight these bugs that keep catching my little man (and me).

it's time to bring in the big guns...............
