happy 4 year anniversary to US!

like every other milestone in our life....... i can't believe it's been 4 years since our wedding day! i wish we could go back to that magical day and live it all over again. the preparation the anticipation & most of all the CELEBRATION of our love. i'd love to see all of our beautiful family & friends smiling as we said, "i do." i'd say I DO again.

his trip to mexico. lor was gone for 8 days surfing in "man country." we missed him & he missed us but he sure had a good time. he took some really amazing photos. my favorite are his pictures of the sunrise which he saw every morning as they ate breakfast and loaded onto the surf boat. he surfed every day for about 4-5 hours. the water temp was 85! he came home with a nice tan, a full belly & super tore up knees from all the surfing with no wet-suit.

we are glad you're home!

milo & i played a ton with his cousins. then i had a big long day with anya. we hiked a crazy 5 miles in laguna, rented a super fun lounge chair boat and hung out on the water had a yummy hot pot dinner & ended it all with a reflexology massage!

morning everyone! hope you all have an amazing week! here's a cute little pic of milo with his cousin calvin. they sure have a lot of fun together. i just loved how calvin was jamming on milo's little acoustic guitar last week. he was like a little mini jack johnson.

i love that when milo wants to tell us he's sitting down he says.

"i'm sit downing"

how in the world do you explain to a frantic toddler why they CAN NOT eat their "opameel" (oatmeal) on a flat green plate? what's wrong with a green bowl?

offer them a choice of orange or blue spoons and distract them........... that's how!

BTW~ milo calls oatmeal "opameel"

i just got done having lunch with my cousin nicole and she reminded me that i never posted proper pictures of our new floors. she was after all...... the inspiration behind our flooring choice. so here is our living room when it's sorta picked up. we love the floors and the baseboards......... we're still debating on what color to paint downstairs. some of you may remember our previous homes.... fluorescent green & china orange. i have very fond memories of my dad cringing as he helped paint our previous bedroom 2 shades of orange......lol! it may be all of that past color overload that has me quite enjoying the white, it's such a nice blank slate. we'll see!
