*family pool time..... woobie really let loose in the pool and was having a ball.  until he got a black eye.

the Aquarium

we enjoyed a trip to the aquarium last weekend.  all of the different creatures  and sea life were so fun to look at.  my personal favorites were the moon jelly fish and the blue billed ruddy duck.  milo was the personal favorite of a big scary shark that we swear was eyeing him like he was a snack..... yikes!

milo liked the aquarium but he LOVED the playground were he got soaking wet and ran around like a maniac.  um...... look closely at his face....;)

of course there were some precious moments.  like this cute little turtle popping out of a cave for a photo op.

on our way out this mariachi started playing and milo loved them.... (we all did)  he actually stood still for once.  can ya believe that?

***stay tuned for our new music release BOYJAH. not kidding! lorin recorded a song that we sing with milo......we're all in it even auntie tely on backup vocals....... it's rockin!

the end of april...

we're so proud of his little independent spirit. he did a full 2 days & 1 night with pop and glamma last week and as he was leaving with glamma he had such a calm inquisitive look on his face like he was wondering what kind of adventure he would be going on with them. i hope he keeps that feeling of security..... knowing that he can go out explore but we are here waiting for him. meanwhile having 2 days to really focus on business and squeeze a lovely midweek date in was FABULOUS! good bye April!

he's taking the most luxurious nap right now 2 1/2 hours so far! we've had a lovely sunny weekend. i'm so lucky i got to go on 2 dates........ yep 2 dates!!!!! lorin took me out friday night to celebrate the article in the OC Register. we had a yummy shabu shabu dinner thanks to our neighbors who insisted on watching milo for us. ;) then saturday night moppa came over while we went and had hour massages. mine was great but lorin's lady was super pinchy. after our massages we went and had a yummy hot pot dinner (my new favorite food). we stopped at TJ's on our way home and got some ice cream and berries and then went home and ate it and watched the office. perfection! hope you've all had a fabulous weekend.

sooooo maybe it was kinda a bad idea.... steep grassy hill + wild children (wild milo) +good friday services=crazy! but we still had fun and it was a great work out. milo seriously would not hold still and when i let him up to move around he would start running down the hill and his little legs could not keep up with him. he ran into some people who were sitting below us. sighhhhhh...... no one got hurt.


i pulled out my secret lollipop weapons & that bought me about 2 minutes until he was over it and on the move again.
